environment variables are variables that are used to:

• configure the behavior of tabulify
• or as template variable

Order of Precedence

The same variable can be found in multiple place, we are taking the configuration with the higher priority.

Configuration Priority In Descendent Order:

• Command Line Variables file
• Dot env Variables File
• Project Variables File
• Operating System Environment variables
• User Variable File

Management

You can:

• add, remove variables from variable files with:
  • Tabli - Variable Set Command
  • Tabli - Variable Delete Command
• or list variables with:
  • Tabli - Variable List Command

The file edited is the file given with the --vars option.

By default, the file edited is:

• if in a project: the project variable file
• if not: the user file
